The Global Impact of Local Art Forms for Sustainable Development Goals

This research consisted of 3 objectives. They were to 1) examine how local and indigenous art forms contribute to the advancement of selected Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) particularly those related to cultural sustainability, social inclusion, education, and economic empowerment at local, national, and global levels, 2) analyze the mechanisms through which local art forms gain global visibility and influence, including cultural exchange, digital platforms, tourism, and international collaborations, and to assess their role in promoting sustainable development narratives worldwide, and 3) evaluate the socio-economic and cultural impacts of integrating local art forms into sustainable development initiatives, with a focus on community resilience, preservation of cultural heritage, and long-term sustainability outcomes. This study employed a mixed-methods research design, combining qualitative and quantitative approaches to explore how local art forms contribute to SDG outcomes and how these contributions resonate globally. The mixed-methods design enabled triangulation of empirical data (quantitative) with rich contextual insights (qualitative), ensuring comprehensive understanding of both measurable impacts and lived experiences of community participants. The final findings were founded based on the three research objectives that 1) the local art forms significantly contributes to achieving multiple SDGs through education, economic empowerment, and cultural preservation, 2) the global impact is achieved through digital dissemination, cultural exchange, strategic partnerships, and cultural diplomacy, and 3) the integrating art into sustainable development initiatives produces substantial socio-economic, cultural, and social benefits while requiring careful management to address sustainability challenges. These findings collectively demonstrate that local art forms are powerful, context-sensitive instruments for advancing global sustainable development, offering culturally grounded pathways toward inclusive and resilient futures.

Analysis of a discrete-time Geo^X/G/1 repairable queue with multiple vacations, feedback and p-entering discipline

This paper considers a discrete-time Geo^X/G/1 repairable queue with server’s multiple vacations, customer feedback and p-entering discipline. The arriving batch enters the system with probability p or is lost with probability 1-p during server vacations. The customer who has just been served returns to the queue with probability 1-q for another service or leaves permanently with probability q. The server may break down during service and does not continue to work until it is repaired. Using the z-transform and renewal process theory, the reliability indices of the transient and steady-state unavailability, the expected failure number during (0^+,n^+] and the steady-state failure frequency of server are studied. The transient structure of the server reliability indices is characterized. As a real-world application the reliability indices of the proxy server in a network access proxy system are analyzed numerically.

Assessment and Mechanism Analysis of Low Carbon Efficiency in Cold Chain Logistics in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area

Cold chain logistics is essential for supplying fresh food, pharmaceuticals, and other temperature sensitive goods in the Guangdong–Hong Kong–Macao Greater Bay Area (GBA), but its heavy reliance on refrigeration and road transport makes it energy intensive and carbon emissions intensive. This study evaluates the low carbon efficiency of cold chain logistics in the GBA and examines the mechanisms through which internal resource inputs and external conditions shape performance. We construct an efficiency assessment framework that treats carbon emissions as an undesirable output and applies a three stage Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA): (i) initial efficiency measurement; (ii) adjustment for environmental factors and statistical noise using economic development, government support, and market environment variables; and (iii) a re estimation of managerial (intrinsic) efficiency. Building on Resource Based Theory, Stakeholder Theory, and Ecological Modernization Theory, we further propose a mechanism model linking capital, labor, technical investment, and energy inputs to low carbon efficiency, with generalized total factor productivity and energy structure as mediators and external conditions as moderators. Preliminary evidence highlights the importance of technological upgrading, route and facility optimization, and policy support in improving both economic output and emissions performance. The findings provide actionable implications for targeting green technology adoption, strengthening regulatory incentives, and addressing cold storage and refrigerated transport capacity gaps to support high quality, low carbon logistics development in the GBA.

The Impact of AI Driven Technological Transformation on The Business Model Transformation of Chinese Strategic Consulting Firms

This study examines how artificial intelligence (AI)-driven technological transformation influences business model transformation in Chinese strategic consulting firms through a mixed-methods approach combining panel data analysis and structured interviews. Using panel data from 128 Chinese strategic consulting firms over the period 2020-2023, alongside 38 in-depth interviews with senior executives, this research employs a difference-in-differences (DID) estimation model to assess the causal impact of AI adoption on business model transformation indicators. The findings reveal that AI-driven technological transformation significantly accelerates business model transformation in Chinese strategic consulting firms (β = 0.38, p<0.001), with particularly strong effects observed in value proposition reconfiguration (β = 0.45, p<0.001) and operational process optimization (β = 0.41, p<0.01). Contrary to established theories suggesting gradual adaptation patterns (Türkeș et al., 2021), this study demonstrates that Chinese firms pursuing emancipatory AI adaptation strategies achieve 72% faster business model transformation rates compared to those following exploitive approaches, outpacing global averages. The theoretical contribution lies in challenging the incremental change paradigm by proposing a dynamic adaptation framework that explains rapid business model reconfiguration under AI-driven transformation in the Chinese context. These findings have significant implications for strategic management theory and provide actionable insights for Chinese consulting firm executives navigating technological transformation in China’s rapidly evolving digital economy.

Utilization and Management of Forage Resources in the Farming Area of Xizang Autonomous Region

Animal husbandry in the agricultural areas of Xizang plays a significant role in the region’s traditional economy. The core of pastoral production in these areas lies in the utilization and management of pasture vegetation. Based primarily on first-hand materials from field investigations conducted in Zhaxilin Village, Zhanang County, this study examines the local wisdom in utilizing and managing mountain pasture vegetation and field ridge vegetation. The villagers’ management and use of mountain vegetation are realized through rational and effective livestock grazing strategies. According to the different types of livestock, herds are separated and grazed on the lower, middle, and upper slopes, with rotational grazing between East Mountain and West Mountain within the village territory. These strategies expand the utilization space of mountain pastures, reduce grazing pressure, improve the utilization rate of various forage plants, maintain vegetation diversity, and lay the foundation for sustainable use of mountain grasslands. The management and use of field ridge vegetation are based on collectively accepted rules and regulations, clearly characterized as “village conventions”. The orderly utilization and management of vegetation are founded on a profound understanding of local natural conditions, climate, livestock behavior, plant characteristics, and the integration of vegetation resources across the village domain. Pastoral production in agricultural areas has expanded the breadth, depth, and elevation of the villagers’ living space, providing better conditions for their subsistence.

Supply Chain Finance and Innovation Performance: A Systematic Literature Review and research implications

This systematic literature review investigates the relationship between supply chain finance (SCF) and innovation performance, aiming to synthesize current knowledge, identify the current status of research and changes in research themes, and reveal future research directions in this rapidly evolving field. The study reviewed 58 high-quality articles published in Web of Science and Scopus, following the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) 2020 guidelines. A content analysis by keywords was employed for publication trends and topic analysis. Three primary research themes emerged: (1) SCF as a Driver of Innovation Performance, (2) Green and Sustainable SCF, and (3) Digitalization and FinTech-Enabled Supply Chain Innovation. It is limited by database scope, language restrictions, and potential selection bias. Future studies should broaden data sources and incorporate empirical validation to enhance the robustness of the findings. The findings provide practitioners with strategic guidance for the implementation of SCF, emphasizing the importance of digital transformation and green innovation orientation. For policymakers, the results highlight the critical role of institutional environment quality in moderating SCF effectiveness and the need for supportive regulatory frameworks. The review synthesizes the two fields of SCF and innovation performance. It makes a contribution to the field by revealing the thematic evolution and proposing a future research agenda aligned with sustainability imperatives and digital transformation.

The Impact of The Classroom Environment of ERP Business Simulation on College Students' Innovative Ability

Based on Bandura's social cognitive theory, this study investigates the impact mechanism of the ERP sand table simulation classroom environment on college students' Innovative ability, with a specific focus on the mediating role of self-efficacy. A theoretical model was constructed with the classroom environment as the independent variable, self-efficacy as the mediator, and Innovative ability as the dependent variable, systematically examining the direct effects of the physical and learning environment dimensions on Innovative ability, as well as their indirect pathways through self-efficacy. Methods: A questionnaire survey was administered to students participating in ERP sand table simulation courses across multiple Chinese universities. Data from 238 valid questionnaires were analyzed using SPSS 26.0 for descriptive statistics, correlation analysis, and Bootstrap mediation effect testing. Results: The overall ERP sand table simulation classroom environment significantly and positively predicted college students' Innovative ability. The learning environment not only directly promoted Innovative ability but also exerted a partial mediating effect through self-efficacy. In contrast, the physical environment exhibited only a direct effect, with its mediating path being non-significant. Further analysis revealed that factors within the learning environment, such as interactive support, task challenge, and psychological safety, effectively enhanced students' self-efficacy, thereby strengthening their innovative performance. Significance: This study confirms the psychological mechanism through which the classroom environment influences Innovative ability via self-efficacy, deepening the understanding of the role of social cognitive factors in innovation education. Practically, it is suggested that when developing simulation-based courses, universities should prioritize optimizing instructional design to enhance teacher-student interaction and task challenge, thereby boosting students' self-efficacy and innovative literacy, while ensuring the functionality of the physical environment. Theoretically, the research extends the application of social cognitive theory to educational contexts and provides empirical evidence for research on innovation education mechanisms. Future research could incorporate longitudinal designs to further explore mechanism differences across various backgrounds.

Research on Quality Improvement Strategies for Labor Service Brand Construction under Big Data Context

Amidst China’s national employment-priority strategy emphasizing high-quality and full employment, regional labor service brands have emerged as pivotal vehicles for activating local workforce resources. Yet their quality construction urgently demands theoretical breakthroughs and practical innovation. Leveraging such brands to stimulate regional labor forces and enhance employment quality represents a critical solution to regional economic development bottlenecks. This study pioneers a multi-agent-driven quality formation model for labor service brands under the Stimulus-Organism-Response (SOR) framework. The model specifies brand symbols, industrial maturity, and management incentives as independent variables, perceived brand value as the mediating variable, and brand quality as the dependent variable. Empirical analysis of 258 valid questionnaires via partial least squares structural equation modeling (PLS-SEM) reveals that: (1) Perceived brand value (β=0.706, p<0.001) serves as the key psychological mediator for quality enhancement; (2) Differential contributions of stimuli to perceived brand value follow this order: brand symbols (β=0.402) > industrial maturity (β=0.346) > management incentives (β=0.167); (3) The "symbol-driven primacy principle" is quantified for the first time: the indirect effect of brand symbols on quality (0.284) is 2.4 times that of policy incentives (0.118), challenging the traditional policy-dominant paradigm. Accordingly, a "Trifold Precision Governance Framework for Big Data" is proposed to advance brand quality.

Path Analysis of the Influence of Informatization Teaching on the Learning Effect and Experience -Exploration research based on business courses teaching experiment

In order to clarify the specific impact path of information technology on student learning interest and learning results, this study utilized informatization teaching tools such as MOOCs, IT-aided quizzes, video case analysis, etc. in a 3-month teaching experiment. Based on the grounded theory, this paper proposes an SRIO model to explain the influence of information technology on student learning effect and learning experience on the basis of student interviews. Meanwhile, this study further presents four positive paths to describe how the teaching content and form stimulate students and further influence their learning experience and results. The findings might have a marginal contribution to the research and practice of informatization teaching.

The reliability of a two identical components cold standby system with replaceable repair equipment and multiple failure modes

This paper investigates a cold standby repairable system consisting of two identical components, where the working component is subject to c failure modes. The failed component is repaired by the repair equipment which may fail during the repair process. Using the Markov renewal process theory and the Laplace-Stieltjes transform, we derive the expression of the system reliability, and then numerical inversion of Laplace transform is used to discuss the time-dependent behavior of system reliability.

Research on the Teaching Mode of Digital Innovation and Entrepreneurship Education Based on PBL

Based on the theory of Problem-Based Learning (PBL), this study designed a hybrid PBL teaching framework of “online + offline” through literature researc h and empirical analysis. Taking “E-commerce B” course of Huaxin College of H ebei University of Geo sciences as the experimental carrier, the study uses questionnaire research combined with practical platforms such as “Internet+” Innovation and ntrepreneurship Competition to verify the teaching effect. The results show that the digital teaching mode based on PBL can significantly improve students' independent learning ability, teamwork ability and innovation and practice ability, and at the same time optimize the teacher-student interaction, so that the teacher changes from a knowledge transmitter to a learning guide. The innovation of this study is the deep integration of PBL with digital tools (e.g. Pair of points easy platform, virtual simulation system, etc.), constructing a closed-loop teaching process of “problem-driven-teamwork-practice verification-ompetition test”, which provides a generalizable digital solution for innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities.

FDI Quality, Technology Absorption Capacity and Renewable Energy Total Factor Productivity - Mechanism Analysis Based on Quartile Regression Analysis of Belt and Road Countries

Based on the renewable energy industry of the countries along the “Belt and Road”, this paper selects the panel data from 2000 to 2020 to study the mechanism of the Foreigner Direct Investment (FDI) quality on the Renewable Energy Total Factor Productivity (RTFP) of the host country through the technology absorption capacity, furthermore, takes 2015 as a node to compare the changes in the RTFP after accession to the “Belt and Road”. The finding shows that: (1) FDI quality significantly promote the RTFP in the host country, and the growth is obvious after 2015; (2) the technology absorption capacity can strengthen the spillover effect of FDI quality, the moderating effect was significant and the value is 0.032; (3) the FDI quality plays a facilitating role in RTFP through the dimensions of FDI production capacity and FDI technological contribution, but the impact of FDI localization is not significant. In addition, for countries with low RTFP, the promotional effect of technology absorption capacity is not significant, and as the RTFP continues to improve, the more significant of technology absorption capacity on FDI quality technology spillover. Therefore, Belt and Road countries should improve the quality of their FDI and increase their investment in R&D in conjunction with the upgrading of industrial to enhance their technological absorptive capacity. At the same time, by taking advantage of the member countries of the “Belt and Road” economic cooperation, realizing the development of renewable energy industry.
